Desert is a solo exhibition by artist Adán De La Garza, a speculative fiction narrative exploring the near future and the events leading to environmental collapse on Earth. Curated by Esther Hernandez, the exhibition features video-based works depicting an ever-expanding desert that relentlessly pursues climate migrants, chronicling Earth's gradual desertification.

Visit the exhibition on opening night, October 16 from 6-8pm to be among the first to experience newly commissioned video work by Adán De La Garza. The artist will be in attendance!

Desert will be on view at Union Hall from October 15, 2026 through January 23, 2027. Union Hall’s open gallery hours are Wednesday - Saturday, from 12 - 6pm.
